The Juvenile Review Board (JRB) is a positive and meaningful alternative to the juvenile justice system for those who have committed minor delinquent acts. The program is rooted in restorative justice principles and aims to help youth to be a positive member of the Trumbull community.
The Diversionary Services Coordinator works with families and schools to develop a plan for successful school attendance, as well as connecting families with services that can help them meet their goals.
The Families with Service Needs designation is for families in which a child under the age of 18 has engaged in high-risk behavior including, but not limited to running away from the parental home without just cause, being beyond the control of their parents(s) or guardian(s), or engaging in indecent or immoral conduct.
