Become a Member or Supporter of the Senior Center. Membership is offered to residents for $5 per year and $20 for non-residents for $20 per year. To join, simply fill out the Trumbull Senior Center Membership Application (PDF) and return it to us!

Volunteer

Interested in making a difference in your community? The Human Services Department offers many different opportunities so volunteers can to share their talents and interests with our members . Volunteers help to organize the food pantry, put together food orders for clients, deliver home delivered meals to homebound seniors, snow shovel or rake leaves for seniors, make friendly phone calls to seniors, assist the front office ,call bingo, run zoom programs, or present on a topic. If you have a passion or skill that you’d like to bring to us to benefit the lives of our seniors and clients, we’d like to hear from you. We are happy to welcome community groups as well as seniors who have applied to the Volunteer Tax Program.

Your donation will be used to assist Trumbull Residents. Checks may be written out to the Department of Human Services. Please add a note on the check if you prefer it go to a specific department: Trumbull Social Services, The Trumbull Food Pantry, The Trumbull Senior Center, or the Mary J. Sherlach Counseling Center. If you wish to donate to the food pantry, we happily accept any non-perishable food items, paper products, such as paper towels and toilet paper, and toiletries.  A list of most needed items can be obtained by calling our office or viewing the monthly announcement of needed items on our Town website's home page.  Gift cards from local grocery stores are always very welcome. Donations to the Food Pantry can be made directly at The Center at Priscilla Place between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. For large donations  being made, please contact our staff ahead of time @ 203-452-5198 so we may be available to assist you. In addition to the Food Pantry, there are two community drop-off locations available at the Trumbull Library – Main Branch on Quality Street, and also at Trumbull Stop & Shop on Quality Street.
