Who can make a reservation?

Only residents may request a permit. All permits are free. Courts are available for play without reservation when not reserved. However, parking stickers are required outside of permitted activities.

When can I rent/reserve a pickleball court?

Requests will be taken on a first come, first served basis through our online portal: Trumbull Parks & Recreation: Facilities (myrec.com). Permits are available in 2-hour time blocks starting at 9am*. One permit, per resident, per week. A week is considered Sunday-Saturday. Permits may be requested on a monthly basis but will not be approved prior to the week before a month starts. For example, the last week of May is when court permits for the month of June will be approved.

*There are select times which are pre-reserved for Social Play, The Trumbull Senior Center Club, as well as Trumbull Parks and Recreation activities. The schedule for these can be found online at https://trumbullct.myrec.com/info/calendar/default.aspx

What if I see a court is open?

Any court unoccupied/unreserved, at any given time is available for use by residents free of charge on a first come, first served basis, including courts at Unity reserved for social club play. We ask that all players limit their play to 90 minutes. If a current permit holder arrives on site during their scheduled permit time or a social club member arrives at Unity during social club hours, the court must be released by the drop-in user immediately, whether or not play is complete.
