Food Pantry
Food donations are gratefully accepted, but they need to be pre-arranged with staff. More information and a list of food needs can be found on our webpage.
Donations in the form of cash or gift cards (Stop and Shop, Big Y, Target, Walmart, etc.) will ensure that families receive the help they need. Monetary donations are also welcome. Contributions are accepted by mail to the Department of Human Services 23 Priscilla Place Trumbull, CT 06611. Please make checks payable to “Trumbull Human Services,” memo line is optional: food pantry, emergency financial assistance, or lunch program. 100% of your donation goes directly to helping meet the basic needs of Trumbull Residents.

The Trumbull Food Pantry is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am-4:00pm. Appointments are required. Please call ahead for donation drop off.

The Pantry is available to all Trumbull residents who meet income guidelines or are facing food insecurity. We do not turn anyone away. We encourage residents to reach out who may be facing an unexpected circumstance such as a layoff or illness. During difficult times, we want to reduce the stress our families face by meeting a basic need.

The Pantry is located at the rear of The Center at Priscilla Place. Shopping is by appointment only to ensure the confidentiality of all shoppers.

Residents may shop once a calendar month for shelf stable items and personal care items and can shop weekly for fresh produce and bagels. Exceptions can always be made.
