[ARCHIVED] 12/27/2006 - **ANNUAL "OPERATION TREECYCLE"**

The residential garbage haulers of the Town of Trumbull have agreed again this year, as their Christmas present to the community, to pick up all resident's "live" Christmas Trees on a separate day. This includes non-customers' trees as well as customers.

The trees should be placed at the curb without lights or any kind of decoration by midnight, January 8th, 2007. They should be as natural as they were bought and grown. Maximum height is 4 feet tall. All taller trees must be cut in half.

Please call the office at 452-5045 by January 31, 2007 if your tree has not been picked up.

Please note that this project is weather affected. If there is a big snowstorm during the project, the pickup may be delayed. Also, please help the hauler out. If each person would un-bury the trees from the snow as soon as possible, they won't become frozen in place until the spring.

If the process is delayed, and you want the tree off of your lawn, you can bring it to the Town Garage at 366 Church Hill Road or the Transfer Station on Spring Hill Road where there is free disposal for Trumbull residents.
