To: Child Care Providers:

Due to overwhelming response, the Connecticut Department of Public Health is offering ten additional Forums on Emergency Preparedness. 

The purpose of these Forums is to assist child care providers and facilities in preparing for emergencies, help programs in writing emergency plans, share ideas on making portable emergency kits, and more! 

Licensing specialists and a supervisor will be on hand to explain the requirements of the day care regulations, and how you can go above and beyond the minimum requirements to improve your program. Join us to learn about local resources, hear about actual emergencies, and how to be prepared for the unexpected. All attendees will receive a free binder ready to fill in with your programs information and a rolling cart ready for your emergency supplies! Refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so registration is required for all sessions.
