HUNTINGTON ROAD SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION
The Town of Trumbull’s Water Pollution Control Authority will be working in
conjunction with the State Department of Transportation and the Town of
Stratford on an extensive reconstruction of Huntington Road. The State
Project No. 138-215 will include curbing, storm drainage installation and
landscaping.
Prior to the roadway improvements the Trumbull W.P.C.A. will be installing
5,800 linear feet of sanitary sewers including manholes, main line and lateral
connections. The project will begin north of Hawley Lane and the Merritt
Parkway overpass and continue to Garnet Place.
Huntington Road will be closed to thru-traffic during the morning and
afternoon, beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m. The sanitary sewer
construction is scheduled to continue for approximately eight weeks.
