$1,000 Scholarship Offered for Trumbull Resident
The Long Hill Garden Club is offering one $1,000 scholarship to a resident of Trumbull who is graduating from high school and is planning to major in one of the following fields: biology, botany, conservation, ecology, environmental science, forestry, horticulture, landscape design, land management and /or related subjects.

$500 Education Grant Invitation for Trumbull PS Teacher
The Long Hill Garden Club invites Trumbull public school teachers working with grades K-5 to submit their application for an educational grant up to a value of $500. The project should deal with any of the following topics: plants, animal habitats, conservation, the environment or ecology. It should increase student learning in any of the above topics. We especially encourage projects that involve caring for our planet and the greening of our neighborhoods.
