First Selectman Herbst announces a residential pickup of tree limbs and debris following Hurricane Irene.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, it has become apparent that many residents need to dispose of downed tree limbs. The Town of Trumbull Highway Department will going through Town picking up and disposing any downed Town trees limbs that were caused by the hurricane.
Residents are asked to cut tree limbs in no more than 4 four foot lengths and place them on their curbs in the front of their homes. Trumbull Public Works crews will be visiting neighborhoods throughout the months of September and October and picking up these piles.
