The WPCA is considering a change in sewer user’s billing policies and procedures. Currently two (SPRING and SUMMER) quarterly bills are determined by using an averaged consumption of water billed during the (FALL and WINTER) quarters. The change would eliminate the use of averaging during the spring and summer. Future billings would be determined by ACTUAL CONSUMPTION of water year round.

The Water Pollution Control Authority will be conducting a public informational meeting and a public hearing before this change is implemented. The dates for the informational meeting and public hearing have not been determined yet. These “change of policy and procedure” meetings will be advertised and posted in advance when scheduled.
