Conservation Connections
The Conservation Commission, supporting Trumbull's recycling efforts distributed 97 compost bins and 29 digesters on Saturday, August 25th at the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center. Many thanks to TNAC for hosting us. The 84 families that participated in the sale were enthusiastic about the program and appreciative of the discounted pricing for the units. We will hold another sale in the spring. Watch for details.
Over the summer we also launched a Facebook page that we hope will be a gathering place for conservation minded residents and area experts to share news and information. Please "like" our page to stay connected: www.facebook.com\trumbullconservation.
Lastly, the Conservation Commission now has a general email address where residents can direct questions or comments. We welcome your input and support. Conservation@trumbull-ct.gov. Your email will be forwarded to the Commission member or town employee best able to address your question.
