[ARCHIVED] Your feedback requested by Sept 12, 2013 on the Trumbull Plan of Conservation & Development

NEW DRAFT OF MASTER PLAN READY FOR EDITS

Back in September 2012 the Planning & Zoning Commission kicked off their new Plan of Conservation & Development (also known as POCD or Master Plan) with a public workshop at Madison Middle School. The POCD is used to guide land use priorities for the next decade, from commercial development to trail expansions to environmental preservation, etc. After nearly a year of drafting and editing, the Planning & Zoning Commission is pleased to present the second draft of the new Plan of Conservation & Development, which is available for review/download at Plan-Trumbull.comHard Copies are also available for review at the Trumbull Library.

PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR COMMENTS, EDITS, OR AFFIRMATIONS BY THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12.

There are 3 ways to let us know your thoughts:

a) Attend the public hearing on 9/12/13 at 7 PM at Frenchtown Elementary School

b) Submit a letter to the Planning & Zoning Commission via our office at Town Hall

c) Send an email to: jbratt@trumbull-ct.gov

Keep in mind that this document will guide land use decisions and investments for the next ten years, so now is the time for EVERYONE (citizens, staff, commissioners, business owners, community leaders, etc), to let his/her voice be heard.

Thank you for spreading the word and for your feedback!
