[ARCHIVED] 8/9/2016 - Democratic Party Primary Election on Tuesday, August 9, 2016

The Office of the Trumbull Registrar of Voters has received official notice from the Office of the Secretary of the State that a Democratic Party Primary election will be held in Trumbull on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. 

The Primary will determine the nomination for the office of State Senator in the 22 District which represents all of Trumbull. Candidates for this office are Thomas C. McCarthy and Marilyn V. Moore.

Hours of voting will be 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM and electors will vote at their normal polling places: District 1 – Hillcrest School, District 2- St. Joseph High School, District 3 – Madison Middle School, District 4 – Middlebrook School.

Only those voters who are registered timely with the Democratic Party will be eligible to vote on August 9. If you are not sure of your Party enrollment status, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 203.452.5059 or go online to

The Trumbull Registrar of Voters Office will be open with extended hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from July 25 to August 12, 2016.
