U.I. Pole Replacement and Tree Work

The United Illuminating Company has notified the town that the replacement of utility poles and accompanying tree work are scheduled at the following locations:

1) House numbers 140 & 150 Driftwood Lane

2) Poplar Street at poles  #2512 and #2013

3) House  numbers 531 & 539 Booth Hill Road

4) House number  43 Old Dairy Road

A work planner from Lewis Tree Experts will be contacting affected property owners shortly to request approval for tree pruning and/or removal. This work is to improve the electrical reliability as outlined in their "Capital Improvement Project".
