This is First Selectman Vicki Tesoro with a COVID-19 Vaccination update.
Yesterday the State released additional vaccination guidance. At this time all Phase 1a and those Phase 1b individuals who are 75 years of age and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination.
Phase 1b appointments are expected to begin next week.
We will have information in the next day or so that incudes how to schedule an appointment and where to go for your vaccine.
Please visit the State website, https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccinations and the Town website, https://www.trumbull-ct.gov for the most up-to-date information about the vaccine distribution.
Please use this time before Phase 1b begins to also talk to your healthcare provider about receiving the vaccine.
