[ARCHIVED] Farm to Families Food Boxes for Trumbull Residents

Farmer's Market

Dear Trumbull Resident:

The State of Connecticut has partnered with the Department of Agriculture to bring the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program to the state. For those not familiar with the program, it is funded through the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act. Under the program, the USDA contracts with regional distributors to purchase product from U.S. farmers and distribute pre-packed food boxes to individuals and families in need. Each box contains 5 pounds of meat, 5 pounds of dairy, 12 pounds of produce, and a gallon of milk.  Click to read more about the Farm to Families Food Boxes for Trumbull Residents.
