United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas and Southern Connecticut Gas are hosting a 30-minute virtual meeting on Monday, Sept. 28,2020 at 12 noon to inform businesses about the COVID-19 payment plans, as well as reminder about the moratorium for shut-offs (for non-paying customers) starting Oct. 1.
The payment plans allow customers impacted by the pandemic to pay off accumulated balances on their CNG, SCG & UI bills over a two-year period, with no security deposit, penalty or interest. Enrolled customers are protected against service disconnection as long as they keep payments current. The enrollment deadline is November 1 for business customers, so they need to contact us.
