[ARCHIVED] 9/15/20 Town Hall Meeting on Public Infrastructure Projects & Private Development

Trumbull Economic Development

First Selectman Vicki Tesoro is inviting the community to join a virtual Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 3:00PM- 4:30PM to share information about the status of public infrastructure and commercial development projects underway throughout town. The virtual Town Hall Meeting will be available on the Trumbull Facebook page and via Trumbull Community Television for those unable to tune in live.

“There is evident and essential construction activity underway throughout town both in terms of public projects and private development. It is important that the community have as much information as possible on the changes underway. We want our residents to understand the projects and how they fit into improved safety, economic vitality and overall quality of life as guided by our Plan of Conservation and Development. Trumbull has been successful at attracting grant funding to support many of the public improvements and there has been significant investment over the past several years from the private sector,” stated Tesoro.

The public can expect updates on public projects including Strobel Road, the trail connection through Trumbull Center, the Route 111 traffic light, and trail and multiple improvements in the Long Hill Green area including the installation of a traffic light at Whitney Avenue and Main Street. As for private development, updates will be provided on the former Marisa’s Restaurant site redevelopment, the new commercial plaza at 965 White Plains Road, the Ten Trumbull and Resort Lifestyle Communities developments on Oakview Drive and The Woodside on Reservoir Avenue. Updates on the new corporate locations in town will be provided including Amazon, Image First Healthcare Laundry, Power Home Remodeling and Make-a-Wish Connecticut.
