In an effort to keep our community safe, Trumbull Parks and Recreation will be taking the following measures:
All programs/activities hosted by our Department are cancelled or postponed effective immediately. This includes evening activities on Thursday, March 12th. We will contact participants directly with more information.
The red 2019 Park Permits (park sticker) will remain valid through May 31, 2020. Please do not come to our office for the 2020 sticker if you currently have the 2019 sticker on your vehicle.
All athletic fields are closed until further notice. This includes fields in the parks and at all schools.
All permitted activities, including sporting practices/events held by our community youth organizations, are cancelled until further notice.
In-office registration for future programs is suspended until further notice. Online registration is still available.
Bow Tie movie ticket sales will be suspended immediately.
For the present time Trumbull parks will remain open and all rules and regulations will be enforced. Vehicles must park in a designated parking spot. Vehicles parking along the roadway or on the grass will be ticketed. Vehicles without a 2019 or 2020 Park Sticker will be ticketed.
We ask that our residents please contact us by phone or email whenever possible. If you need a 2020 park sticker you may request one via mail (see the Vehicle Park Permit page for a list of required documentation).
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
Sincerely,
Trumbull Parks and Recreation
