Know Your Numbers: Trumbull Health Department Offers Free Health Screenings to Community

The Trumbull Health Department is partnering with Sacred Heart University’s Student Nurse Association and is inviting community members to take charge of their health by participating in a free “Know Your Numbers” health screening event on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the Trumbull Health Department, 335 White Plains Road. Appointments are required. Call 203-452-1030 to schedule an appointment.

The event will provide free screenings for key health indicators, including blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index (BMI), and weight. Testing takes about five minutes and results are given before you leave. Health professionals will be on site to explain results, answer questions, and provide guidance on next steps and healthy lifestyle choices.

“Knowing your numbers is an important first step in preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and stroke,” said Joan Littlefield, Trumbull Health Director. The screenings are open to Trumbull residents, 18 years of age and older, and are offered at no cost. Fasting is NOT necessary for Know Your Numbers.
