To whom it may concern,
Please accept my letter of resignation from the Board of Finance, effective December 18, 2025. I do know that I have 2 years remaining. However, since my recent hip replacement surgery, I have been rethinking my future plans. I feel it is time for me to step back from public service.
My husband and I have owned home in Florida for many years and we did plan on spending our "golden" years as snow birds. I have finally decided it is time for me to do just that, enjoy the Florida sunshine during the winter months.
It has truly been a privilege to answer the call to serve the town of Trumbull in my many varied positions during my 43 years as a Trumbull resident. Most especially, to run as Democrat on a Republican "unity'' ticket for the Board of Finance. I thank the Trumbull citizens, for recognizing my years of commitment to the town of Trumbull, above party politics and giving me one more time to serve. I look forward to supporting the citizens of Trumbull, regardless of party affiliation, in any way possible.
