Just Write Peer Writing Group Tuesday, September 1st from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Considering a memoir? Dabbling in poetry? Composing essays? Join us at Just Write –  a welcoming group for adults who love putting words on the page. We share our work with fellow writers and offer positive, constructive feedback and encouragement. All types of writing are welcome: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, memoirs, blog posts, essays, and more. Our policy is to focus on the quality of the piece and not the content. Come to read, listen, and encourage your fellow scribblers. Registration is encouraged but not required. 

The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, September 2nd from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our fiber arts group. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is requested for the group but not required. 

Movie Matinee: Singin' in the Rain Tuesday, September 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sit back, relax, and enjoy an afternoon at the movies! Each month we'll screen a different film, along with complimentary soda/beverages. Our September selection is Singin' in the Rain (1952), the timeless musical comedy set during Hollywood's transition from silent films to sound. With memorable performances, classic songs, and plenty of laughs, it's the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Register here. 

Toddler Time (Walkers-Age 3) Monday, August 31st from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Come and join us for some music and movement at the library! We will sing, dance, and read together. This is a drop-in program. No registration required.

Preschool Time (Age 3-5) Monday, August 31st from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Kristine for circle time, stories, and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required. 

Toddler Time (Walkers-Age 3) Tuesday, September 1st from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Come and join us for some music and movement at the library! We will sing, dance, and read together. This is a drop-in program. No registration required. This program is held in the Community Room.

Baby Time (Birth-walking) Wednesday, September 2nd from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to walking. Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required.

Perler Beads (Gr. K-8) Wednesday, September 2nd from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Come to the library and create some fun Perler Bead designs. You can make something for a friend, family, or yourself. Bring your creativity and we will supply the rest. Supplies are limited so registration is required. Please register each attendee. Register here.

Miss Claudia Sings a Story (Ages 2-5 & Families) Friday, September 4th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join Miss Claudia for a musical storytime! Ages 2-5. Younger/Older siblings welcome. Registration is not required.

Sharing Stitches Yarn Crafts Group (Gr. 4-8) Saturday, August 29th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. If you are in grades 4-8 and you enjoy crocheting, knitting, or other types if yarn/needle crafts, this is the group for you. Come and work on projects, compare styles, and chat. Some of the group may also be available to help you learn some skills. No experience necessary. Registration is suggested. Each participant must register.

Teen (P)SAT Exam Saturday, September 5th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Get the experience you need to succeed on test day by taking a full-length SAT practice test. You'll get an interactive score report to help you evaluate your strengths and weaknesses so you can start improving your score right away! This is an online only test – you can take it from the comfort of your own home! This test date is perfect for any teens who want one last bit of prep before the official SAT exams on 9/12 and 10/3. Tiny Tales 2s, 3s and 4s Tuesday, September 8th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join us for story time! We will have a little bit of stories a little bit of music and a show stopping craft. Ages 2-4. Register here.

Krista's Kids Yoga Wednesday, September 9th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Join Krista Boyer for a fun, interactive yoga class for children ages 3 to 6. Bring a mat or towel, bring a water bottle, wear your comfortable clothes and join us for a "zen" 30 minutes of relaxation for your little ones and their caregivers. Sing-Along Music Time with Tom Weber Tuesday, September 15th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Join Tom Weber and his merry music for a fun and engaging sing-along. Ages birth to 6. Drop In.
