Passport Services Wednesday, July 24th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. We are happy to partner with the Ferguson Library’s U.S. Passport Center to host passport clinics at Trumbull Library. Their team will Process U.S. passport applications; Guide those that are processing renewals for adults; Take passport photo; Provide all forms; Make copies of all documents; Credit card and cash processing. Please be aware that the payment to The U.S. Department of State for the passport book or card, must be made with a check or money order. The payment for processing and pictures, that is made to the Ferguson Library, can only be paid cash, debit or credit card. Trivia Nights: Baseball Tuesday, July 30th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Summer is a time for America's pastime and so come join us for some fun BASEBALL TRIVIA... all-original trivia questions spanning old time baseball nostalgia, greats like Mickey Mantle and Jackie Robinson and many more, you’re sure to enjoy...  And we all know Babe Ruth was the Home Run King, but let's see who the King or Queen of baseball trivia is! Register here.

Toddler Time for 2s & 3s Monday, July 22nd from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3. 

Baby Time Tuesday, July 23rd from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required.

Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar? Tuesday, July 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Someone has been sneaky recently and stolen the cookies meant to be shared with everyone, all for themselves! Children ages 3-6 will develop their color identification and number skills in this STEM based mystery program. Follow the clues to find the thief, and those yummy cookies! (Cookies will, indeed, be distributed at the end of this event). Register here.

Preschool Time Thursday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Katie for storytime! Listen to stories and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required.

Chess Club Thursday, July 25th from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. All ages and skill levels are invited to play. Please bring a chess board if you own one. Registration is requested but not required.

KIDTEEN

Teen Virtual Escape Room Wednesday, July 24th from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. During this program, teens will work in groups to solve puzzles from virtual escape rooms provided by the Shelburne Museum and Escape the Crate. There will be two escape rooms with an hour each to escape. This program is for teens ages 12 - 17. Registration is requested but not required. 

Chess Club Thursday, July 25th from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. All ages and skill levels are invited to play. Please bring a chess board if you own one. Registration is requested but not required.

Let's Bubble Poppin' Boogie! Saturday, August 3rd from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Get ready to pop some bubbles and boogie at this Children's Music and Story Time event with Joy Blooms!  Joy will encourage music and movement with her catchy and interactive songs and present a reading of "Curly's Fun With Bubbles" by Sherry Boddie. Ages 2 and up, registration required.

Random Adult Book Club Monday, August 5th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come join us for a book club that is exactly that.  "Hot Book" fiction, thrillers, mysteries, memoirs, sci-fi, non-fiction, chick lit... You never know what genre we will explore or rabbit hole we'll go down! The book selection for this month is: Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. Register here.
