IMPORTANT ELECTION INFORMATION

 

Voter information and deadlines:

Voters who wish to vote in a particular party Primary should complete a voter registration card and mark “Party Change” at the top. These forms can be acquired by contacting your local Election Administration Office (Registrar of Voters); you can also go to their local website or the Secretary of the States website at www.ct.gov.

May 10, 2010 is the deadline for an elector to change from one party to another and be eligible to vote in the new parties’ Primary.  

If you are a registered voter as an unaffiliated voter (not registered with any party) the deadline to change to a Party by mail is August 5, 2010. Deadline for in office in person is August 9, 2010, 12:00 pm.

August 10, 2010 will be Primary Day should one be held.

November 2, 2010 will be held on General Election – State & Federal.
