TMHD Alerts All Parents of School-Age Children of New Regulatory Changes to School Immunizations Entry Requirement
The Trumbull Monroe Health Distirct (TMHD) wants to alert all parents of school-age children that new regulatory changes to school immunizations entry requirements were passed by the Connecticut Regulations Review Committee on December 21, 2010. The new requirements, which bring the Connecticut requirements into agreement with national recommendations, are effective on August 1, 2011. TMHD offers the following school-age immunizations:
- DTaP ( Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Acellular Pertussis)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae Type B Vaccine)
- Influenza
- IPV (Inactivated Polio Vaccine)
- Meningococcal Conjugate
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis)
- Varicella
