[ARCHIVED] Proposed Project for the Roadway Reconstruction of Moose Hill Road: Informational Meeting

The Town of Trumbull of the State of Connecticut has a proposed project for the Roadway Reconstruction of Moose Hill Road.

The project is in the concept stage and may be recommended for construction under the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program administered by the Town of Trumbull, Engineering Department. This project, if supported by the community and the Town of Trumbull officials, will be designed by the Town of Trumbull.

It is the Town of Trumbull’s and the State’s policy to keep persons informed and involved when such projects are undertaken. It is important that the community share its concerns to assist in the project’s development. The Town of Trumbull will conduct an informational meeting on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Trumbull Library, 33 Quality Street, Trumbull, CT in the Community Room.

It is planned to reconstruct Moose Hill Road from Daniels Farm Road to the Trumbull/Shelton Town Line. Scope of work will include roadway re-alignment, full depth roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements, etc.

Based upon preliminary assessment, the construction will cost approximately $4,400,000.00.

It is anticipated that the State of Connecticut will provide 100% of the construction costs and the Town of Trumbull will provide all costs associated with the design of the project.

Anyone interested in obtaining further information or provide input may attend the meeting and/or contact Frank Smeriglio, PE – Town of Trumbull, Town Engineer at 203-452-5050.
