SMALL MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SEWER SYSTEMS - (MS4)
January 26, 2017 - The Town of Trumbull is registered under the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s (CTDEEP) General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems, originally issued on January 9, 2004. The permit is required by provisions of the Clean Water Act. As part of its registration under the General Permit, the Town is required to file an annual report of activities undertaken to meet the Minimum Control Measures specified in the Permit and in the Town’s Stormwater Management Plan.
Section 4(d) of the General Permit requires a 30 day public comment period on the draft plan before it is filed with CTDEEP. The report can be viewed in the Engineering Department at Town Hall, 5866 Main Street, Trumbull, CT.
