The traditional start to the leaf pick-up program is the first week in November. The mild weather conditions have significantly impacted the fall leaf season. In response, the start of the program in the southwest quadrant of the Town was delayed by one week and can’t be delayed further as possible winter weather in December and January could drastically slow the process and lead to further delays. At the end of the program in mid-January Public Works will return and service this area again.
Please check the Town website for additional information about the leaf pick-up program: https://www.trumbull-ct.gov/617/Leaf-Pickup-Program
Social Services and the food pantry are accepting check donations and gift card donations for the Thanksgiving and Holiday giving program this year.
If purchasing a gift card, gift cards to grocery stores and local retail stores are preferred. All other donations such as food or toys must be pre-approved by the department.
Please call social services at 203-452-5133 if you have any questions.
The department would like to thank Trumbull residents for their continued support in helping their fellow residents.
Stay well and stay safe.
Thanks for listening!
