[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Update: Parks/Fields Closed

Dear Residents,

In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Trumbull Parks and Recreation will be closing all public parks, playgrounds, open space, and athletic fields/courts at sunset on Monday, March 16, 2020. These locations will remain closed to all activity until further notice. This includes Twin Brooks, Unity, Indian Ledge, Old Mine, Island Brook and Nothnagle Parks as well as all alethic fields and courts on both Park and Board of Education properties.

We understand the desire to use our beautiful park systems, however the health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance. We must all do our part to “flatten the curve” and limit the transmission of this virus. Please continue to check our website for additional updates and information: www.trumbull-ct.gov/recreation.

Sincerely,

Dmitri Paris

Superintendent of Parks and Recreation
