Dungeons & Dragons

DungeonsAndDragons

Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game (TRPG) where players create and play a character using their imagination and sets of dice. It facilitates critical thinking skills, team building, public speaking, basic mathematics and problem solving, etc. all while engaging players in a fun and interactive game.

The Trumbull Library System offers two D&D groups for students to play in: one at the main library and one at the Fairchild-Nichols branch. These groups are strictly for players ages 12 – 18. Experience with the game is not required and all materials will be provided.

The Trumbull Main Library group meets every four weeks on Saturday from 2:00 – 4:30 PM in the Merwin Room. Registration is required. When registering, you are committing to on-going meetings (play sessions are not one-time events and build off one another)

This group is currently closed and not taking new members. Players are required to come in sometime before their first play-session to create a character; coming without a prepared character means you will have to play with a pre-made one.

The Fairchild-Nichols group currently meets every other  Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 7:00 PM in the Program Room. Registration is required. When registering, you are committing to on-going meetings (play sessions are not one-time events and build off one another).

This group is currently closed and not looking for new members. Players are required to come in sometime before their first play-session to create a character; coming without a prepared character means you will have to play with a pre-made one.
